Statutory Meeting

According to Section 165, every public company limited by shares or limited by guarantee and having share capital must hold a statutory meeting within a month but not more than six months from the date on which the company is entitled to commence business. The purpose of the statutory meeting is to enable the members to get acquainted with the affairs of the company.
