उत्तर

For

International sports are those in which at least two countries are represented by the participants. The Olympic Games are the most well-known international sporting events, but others include the FIFA World Cup and the Paralympic Games. International sports have influenced the democracy, freedom, and culture of countries all over the world from the dawn of time. "International sports encourage nation-to-nation friendship," is a concept I support.

International sports are inextricably linked to world politics and are a source of national pride and prestige. Many sports have inspired minorities to participate in various sporting activities. Many countries throughout the world see modern international sporting events as a significant business opportunity, especially in terms of political, economic, and cultural development. Sports inspire compassion and promote international peace. Sports exchanges between countries are frequently utilised as a form of public diplomacy, considering that the aim is to increase mutual understanding.

It is safe to voice dissatisfaction with the policies of the other country because it is a minor issue in comparison to the worldwide political system. Boycotting a sport is the most prevalent way to express resentment in sports. It is thought to be the most measured and cost-effective political action available. Sports frequently initiate or exacerbate international political strife. People may now sit in front of the television and simultaneously watch important international sporting events thanks to the advancement of modern digital media.

Overall, international sporting events necessitate significant effort from each participating country; they provide an opportunity for nations to exchange cultures and forge strong bonds.

Against

International sporting events are a great method to improve goodwill between nations.

However, hostility and toxic competition consume all of the essences, resulting in enmity between countries.
Sports, like a coin, have two sides: they generate familiar and pleasant emotions on the one hand, and they increase discontent between nations on the other.

According to a report, hostility among world cup participants rises significantly. During the World Cup year, the participants from non-qualifying countries showed a considerable increase in hostility. The outcome was subjected to extensive testing, and the estimated effect was much greater in countries where soccer is the most popular sport.

The findings also imply that attending the World Cup boosts participants' hostility by around half as much as a revolution.

According to human psychology, the drive for prizes trumps humanity's essential ideals, and morality is jeopardised. In order to make their country proud, athletes develop feelings of animosity and bitterness toward players from other countries. This creates unhealthy competition and rivalry among players and coaches from various countries. Particularly in matches such as India vs. Pakistan, a strong sense of enmity arises between the citizens of the two countries.

Despite the countless international sporting events, the world is plagued by the ills of partiality, racism, discrimination, and unfriendly relations.
