प्रश्न
Write a note on nitrogen fixation?
उत्तर
The process of bio-fixation of nitrogen is called nitrogen fixation. It is usually carried out by industrial nitrogen fixation, i.e., manufacturing of ammonium salts and urea or chemical fertilisers or by nitrogen-fixing bacteria (Azotobacter and Rhizobium). These bacteria convert the atmospheric nitrogen into water-soluble nitrates for the use of plants.
