She was delighted to find the sealed envelope lying on her table. As she reached for it she received a call from an unknown number. She was trying to figure out whose number it was but then couldn’t recognise it. She didnt the receive the call at first time and was so excited to check what’s in that envelope but by the time she would open it, she received a call from the same number again on her phone.

As she realised that the call might be urgent she answered it. She wasn’t aware that this call might change her life completely and she got a shocking news!!

The person gave her news that her dad was martyed in a terror attack and that her family is called to complete the further documentation and the body of her father will be handed over to the family after that. The girl was numb and shock and couldn’t speak a word. She didn’t knew how to react and how to inform her mother and younger sibling. She was so excited to check about her envelope thta she didn’t even realised that there was a breaking news where this news was highlighted.  But then she was a strong girl of a brave father. She gathered all her guts and went to her mother to inform about this news. Wiping the tears from her eyes, she called her sibling and both the sisters gave this news to their mother. Since she was a wife of a brave soldier and though she had tears in her eyes all three of them informed their relatives and waited for another call. After all the procedures, the last rites were carried with all the respect that her father deserved.

The family after all the rituals got a call from the Chief Minister of her state for the compensation amount and a job in the government office for her mother. The girl accepted the job offer but denied the compensation amount as this amount would not bring her father back to them. Since the family was always inspired from their father’s background everyone was brave enough to face this situation and move on. The girls decided that they will not take anyone’s favor but with their hardwork an dedication they will make their father proud. The eldest daughter studied hard and with all her hardwork she cleared her exams and herself decided to serve Indian Army like her father. The mother was stupefied by her daughter’s decision and supported her in this as the whole family was proud of their daughter who was fulfilling her father’s dream to serve the nation.
