प्रश्न
Write two solutions for the following equation :
`2/3 x - y = 4`
उत्तर
Given that
`2/3 x - y = 4`
Substituting y = 0 in this equation we get
`2/3 x - 0 = 4`
⇒ `x = 4 xx 3/2`
⇒ `x = 6 `
So, (6, 0) is a solution of the given equation
Substituting y = 1 in the given equation, we get
`2/3 xx -1 =4`
`2 /3 x = 5 ⇒ x = 15/2`
So . `( 15 / 2 .1)` is a solution of the given equation.
∴ We obtain ( 6.0 ) and `(15 /2 .1)` as solutions of the given equation.
