Will the two pieces act as individual magnets? Mark the poles of these two pieces. Suggest an activity to verify your answer.
Solution
The split magnet's components will function as two separate magnets. They'll have the North Pole and the South Pole as well. Using a compass or a test of repulsion between newly generated magnets, we may identify the poles of split magnets.
