Total weight of orange = 22.5 kg
Weight of orange required for 1 family = 2.5 kg
∴ Number of families sharing orange = 22.5 kg ÷ 2.5 kg
= `22.5/2.5`
= `22.5/2.5 xx 10/10`
= `225/25`
= 9
∴ 9 families can share the oranges.
