Question
A cup is `1/3` full of milk. What part of the cup is still to be filled by milk to make it full?
Solution
A cup is `1/3` full of milk.
∴ The remaining part of the cup which is still to be filled by milk = `1 - 1/3`
= `(3 - 1)/3` .....[∵ L.C.M of 1 and 3 is 3]
= `2/3`
