Solution

Given: : I = 10 A, N = 5, B = 0 .5 x 10-4 T

To find: d = ?

B = `(µ_0NI)/(2R) = (µ_0NI)/d`

∴ d = `(4π xx 10^-7 xx 5 xx 10)/(0.5 xx 10^-4)`

∴ d = 1.257 m

∴  The diameter of the coil is 1.257 m
