1. At the bottom of the cyclone's body, the gas turns and spirals up through the centre of the tube and out of the top of the cyclone.
2. The centrifugal force of the spinning gas stream forces large particles toward the cyclone walls.
3. Gravity causes the large particles to travel down the cyclone and into a hopper.
4. The clean gas escapes out.
5. 'B' is the entry point and ‘A’ is the exit point.
