Question
An electric bulb draws 1.2 A current at 6.0 V. Find the resistance of filament of bulb while glowing.
Solution
Current (I) = 1.2 A
Potential Difference/Voltage (V) = 6.0 V
Resistance (R) = ?
According to Ohm's Law:
V = IR
Then R = `"V"/"I"`
R = `6/1.2`
R = 5 Ω
