Youth - The Torch Bearers
- By Sohail Hassan
Youth are a valuable human resource for society, the nation, and the globe. The nation's youth are the force that can influence how society will develop in the future. It's true what they say: only highly skilled, developed, and aware human resources can transform nature's bounty into valuable resources. A significant portion of this resource is the youth. The majority of community development concerns itself with issues that are significant to a particular community. Indian youth, who make up 65% of the population, can play a significant role in the development of communities both at home and abroad. For young adults, volunteering in their community can be a worthwhile experience. Youth involvement in this kind of development not only benefits the community as a whole but also aids in the development of new talents and passions. A wonderful way to give back to the community is by volunteering in community development. They can express their gratitude to the society in which they were born by aiding in the growth of the neighbourhood. Youth have the power to improve the lives of those around them. They can raise awareness of issues affecting the younger generations and improve the lifestyles of a great number of people. This fosters a sense of belonging and fortifies social ties. Involving young people in such developments will be like making a long-term investment because they will continue to work harder for a longer period of time.
Hence, the society's core support system is created. The idea of youth involvement is supported on the premise that it not only benefits the community but also gives young people chances for development and introspection. Indulging in community development can help young people develop a set of skills and gain real-world experience in a variety of areas, including event planning, communication, and leadership. The premise that skill development has become a significant part of career development for young people today is implausible. Additionally, this may personally fulfil you.
when today's youth are considered to be members of the "crystal generation," self-realization and social awareness are important aspects of their lives. It is crucial to highlight the variety of opportunities offered by community development for youth development and self-reflection. it facilitates a deeper comprehension of one's own values and beliefs. Self-realization is a key concept in community development because it helps people recognise and understand the difficulties others in the community face. Being a volunteer in one's neighbourhood is a fulfilling experience that can help both the individual and the neighbourhood. Young adults should get involved and contribute positively to the world around them. The crystal generation must, after all, extol the beauty and bounty of the world to a greater extent and leave their mark on the glorious pages of history, which will serve as a beacon for succeeding generations and be cherished forever.
