A) Equal citizenship: It provides an equal opportunity for each citizen. It also offers an equal platform in terms of social, cultural and economic development. National integration also helps to unite the minorities as well as gives them the freedom to live their life in their way without any interference.

B) Unity in diversity: Unity in diversity is very essential for a country because it is a very simple task to divide people with different views and ideas. If there is unity between people despite their variations and it is very difficult to disintegrate the nation.

C) Secularism: Secularism seeks to interpret life based on principles derived solely from the material world, without recourse to religion. It shifts the focus from religion towards "temporal" and material concerns.

D) Socio-economic and political justice: The expression 'Social and Economic Justice' involves the concept of 'Distributive Justice' which connotes the removal of economic inequalities and rectifying the injustice resulting from dealing or transaction between unequal in society.

E) Equality: Some societies view equity as a worthy goal in and of itself because of its moral implications and its intimate link with fairness and social justice. Policies that promote equity can help, directly and indirectly, to reduce poverty. Policies that promote equity can boost social cohesion and reduce political conflict.
