In the battle of Talikota the five kingdoms of Bijapur, Ahmednagar, Berar, Golconda, and Bidar formed an alliance against the Vijayanagar kingdom and gave it a crushing defeat. Due to this battle, the Hindu empire in the South was totally finished.
