They are often distributed by hand, but nowadays they may also be mailed. Flyers are usually used for short-term promotions and are distributed freely. Other names for flyers are pamphlets, leaflets, handbills, handouts, and circulars.
2. Brochures: They are concise, visually appealing documents, usually designed in a threefold format. They are printed on both sides of an A4 sheet, using a combination of text and images, keeping in mind that they have to convey information briefly and effectively. Brochures are printed on thick, glossy finished paper, and they have a long span for use in promotion.
