Calculate the annual income of the following:

180 shares of Rs 50 each paying 12% dividend.

Sum

Solution

No. Of shares = 180 

Price of each share = Rs 50 Therefore, Total investment

=Rs ( 50 x 180) = Rs 9,000 

Dividend = 12 % 

Hence Annual Income = Rs `(12 xx 9000)/100` = Rs 1080
