Calculate the investment required to buy:

315 shares of Rs 60 each at a premium of Rs 12.

Sum

Solution

315 shares of Rs 60 each at a premium of Rs 12. 

No. Of shares to be purchased = 315 

Rs 60 shares at a premium of Rs 12 =Rs (60+12) =Rs 72 

Therefore, money required to purchase 315 shares

=Rs 72 x 315 = Rs 22,680.
