750 shares of Rs 100 each at a discount of 24%.

Solution

750 shares of Rs 100 each at a discount of 24°/o.

No. Of shares to be purchased = 750

Rs 100 shares at a discount of 24°/o = Rs ( 100 - 24°/o of Rs 100) = Rs( 100 - 24) =Rs 76 

Therefore, money required to purchase 750 shares

= Rs 76 x 750 =Rs 57,000.
