Question
Calculate the volume of wood of mass 6000 kg if the density of wood is 0.8 g Cm-3
Solution
The volume of wood (V) =?
Mass of wood (M) = 6000 kg
Density of wood D = 0.8 g/ Cm3
D=O.8g/Cm3=o=0.8 × I000 = 800kg /m3
D=`M/V`
∴ V=`M/D`=`6000/800`
= 7.5 m3
