Question
Check whether the following numbers are in continued proportion.
2, 4, 8
Solution
The numbers a, b, c are in continued proportion if `a/b = b/c`.
`2/4 = 1/2`
`4/8 = 1/2`
Since `2/4 = 4/8`, so the numbers 2, 4, 8 are in continued proportion.
