Question
Check whether the following numbers are in continued proportion.
9, 12, 16
Solution
The numbers a, b, c are in continued proportion if `a/b = b/c`
`9/12 = 3/4`
`12/16 = 3/4`
Since `9/12 = 12/16`, so the numbers 9, 12, 16 are in continued proportion.
