Solution

\[\ce{2MnO-_{4(aq)} + 5H_2O_{2(g)} -> 6H^+_{(aq)} -> 2Mn^{2+}_{(aq)} + 8H_2O_{(l)} + 5O_{2(g)}}\]

`"H"_2"O"_(2("aq"))` is acting as a reducing agent in the acidic medium, thereby oxidizing `"MnO"_(4("aq"))^(-)`

Hence, the given reaction is a redox reaction.
