Question
Explain the importance of conservation of minerals
Solution
Conservation of minerals is important because they are non-renewable sources of energy. Once exhausted, it takes geological ages for them to replenish. Minerals are required for economic development. Almost every sector of the economy—industry, agriculture and transport—are dependent on minerals. Thus, minerals should be conserved.
