Define the term 'conductivity' of a metallic wire. Write its SI unit.
Solution
The property of a material that allows flows of electrons (or any charged particle ) between two points of the material when a potential difference is applied between these two points is called conductivity of a wire. SI unit of conductivity: Siemens per metre.
