Solution
When Passepartout arrives, the detective arrests Mr. Fogg because he believes Fogg is the bank thief. He also throws various roadblocks in his path. Fogg is imprisoned, but when the real thief is apprehended, he is freed. Then, with the assistance of the special train, Fogg arrives in London late, disappointing everyone.
