Rahul's cleverness

Rahul was alone at home. Suddenly the phone rang and he picked up the call thinking some friend might have called. Rahul was questioned if his parents were at home during the conversation. Rahul responded, "No, they're out of town." Then he enquired as to whether Rahul was aware of his father's credit card information. Even though he remembered the information, he declined to give the stranger his credit card information. Rahul once more refused to provide the man his home address when he was subsequently asked for it. He told his folks the entire tale when they got home later.

Rahul's handling of the call was greatly appreciated by his parents. Rahul already received this instruction from him, and he retains it in the back of his mind.
