Ram, a polio victim and Ganesh, a strong, but visually challenged man were friends. They wished to go to pay homage at a place of worship. They were determined to go together in spite of their disabilities.
They continued despite the difficult area and the extreme heat. Ganesh carried Ram on his back while navigating the terrain with his strong legs. Ram, who had an excellent sense of hearing and direction, led them by keeping them on course and listening for landmarks.
A steep hill and a flood were among the numerous challenges they had to overcome. But at last, they arrived at their destination. Their relationship was reinforced by this trip, which also demonstrated the value of friendship.
