I can become a better listener if I start paying complete attention to people. An excellent listener understands the speaker's thoughts and feelings. To be a good listener, I will try to keep eye contact with the speaker and use gestures to signal that I am listening. I will avoid interrupting or jumping to conclusions, as well as offering unwanted thoughts and suggestions.
