Divide 72 in the ratio `2 1/2:1 1/2`

Solution

Given ratio = `2 1/2:1 1/2=5/2:3/2`

= `5/2xx2:3/2xx2`

Sum of ratio = 5 + 3 = 8

1st divide = `5/8xx72` = 45

2nd divide = `3/8xx72` = 27
