Question
Evaluate:
sin A cos B + cos A sin B, if A = 30° and B = 45°.
Evaluate
Solution
Given that,
A = 30° and B = 45°
⇒ sin A cos B + cos A sin B
We have,
⇒ sin 30° × cos 45° + cos 30° × sin 45°
On putting the values, we get,
⇒ `1/2 xx 1/(sqrt2) + (sqrt3)/2 xx 1/(sqrt2)`
⇒ `1/(2sqrt2) + sqrt3/(2sqrt2)`
⇒ `((1 + sqrt3))/(2sqrt2)` Or `((sqrt2 + sqrt6))/4`
