Question
Explain the term clear shot in Badminton.
Solution
In this stroke, contact the shuttlecock around the middle of your racket head. The aim of the clear is to cause the shuttle to go up high in the air and land at your opponent's back court. It is also strategic to use when your opponent is near to the forecourt, forcing him to retract to the back to retrieve the shuttle.
