Question
Explain Virtual Reality.
Solution
(i) The term "virtual" has been used in the computer sense of ''not physically existing but made to appear by software".
(ii) Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment.
(iii) VR places the user inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed and able to interact with 30 worlds.
(iv) However, rather than locating a real camera within a physical environment, the position of the user's eyes is located within the simulated environment. If the user's head turns, the graphics react accordingly.
(v) One method by which virtual reality can be realized is simulation-based virtual reality.
(vi) Driving simulators, for example, give the driver on board the impression of actually driving an actual vehicle by predicting vehicular motion caused by driver input and feeding back corresponding visual, motion, and audio feedback to the driver.
