Sum

Solution

Product of 3.2 × 106 and 4.1 × 10–1

= (3.2 × 106)(4.1 × 10–1)

= (3.2 × 4.1) × 106 × 10–1

= 13.12 × 105

= 1.312 × 105 × 101  ...[∵ am × an = am + n]

= 1.312 × 106
