= (2p + q)2 - (10p - 5q) - 6
= (2p + q)2 - 5(2p + q) - 6
= (2p + q)2 - 6(2p + q) + (2p + q) - 6
= (2p + q)(2p + q - 6) + 1(2p + q - 6)
= (2p + q - 6)(2p + q + 1).
