Question
Find the area of circle whose circumference is 44 cm.
Solution
Circumference = 44 cm
Let radius = r cm
Circumference = 2 × r = 44 cm
`2 × 22/7 × r= 44`
`r = (44×7)/(2×22) = 7`๐๐
radius = 7 cm
Area of circle = ๐r2
`= 22/7 × 7 × 7 = (22 × 7) = 154`๐๐2
