Question
Find the cube of \[2\frac{2}{5}\] .
Sum
Solution
We have: \[2\frac{2}{5} = \frac{12}{5}\]
Also,
\[\left( \frac{m}{n} \right)^3 = \frac{m^3}{n^3}\]
\[\therefore\] \[\left( \frac{12}{5} \right)^3 = \frac{{12}^3}{5^3} = \frac{12 \times 12 \times 12}{5 \times 5 \times 5} = \frac{1728}{125}\]
