Question
Find first four terms of an A.P., whose first term is 3 and common difference is 4.
Solution
First term (a) = 3, Common difference (d) = 4 ......[Given]
t1 = a = 3
t2 = t1 + d = 3 + 4 = 7
t3 = t2 + d = 7 + 4 = 11
t4 = t3 + d = 11 + 4 = 15
∴ The first four terms of A.P. are 3, 7, 11, 15.
