Question

Find the amount to be paid at the end of 3 years in given case:

Principal = ₹ 7,500 at 5% p.a.

Sum

Solution

Principal = ₹ 7500

Rate = 5% p. a.

Time = 3 years

Simple interest = `("Principal" xx "Rate" xx "Time")/100`

= `(7500xx 5 xx 3)/100`

= ₹ 1125

Amount = 7500 + 1125
