Question

Find the interior angles of the following triangles:

Sum

Solution

In ABC,
∠A = 110°
AB = AC
⇒ ∠C = ∠B   ....(angles opposite to two equal sides are equal)
Now, by angle sum property,
∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°
⇒ ∠A + ∠B + ∠B = 180°
⇒ 110° + 2∠B = 180°
⇒ 2∠B = 180 - 110°
⇒ 2∠B = 70°
⇒ ∠B = 35°
⇒ ∠C = 35°
Hence, ∠B = 35° and ∠C = 35°.
