Find the order and degree of the differential equation `(d^2y)/(dx^2) = root(3)(1 - (dy/dx)^4`

Sum

Solution

`(d^2y)/(dx^2) = root(3)(1 - (dy/dx)^4`

Taking cube on both sides,

`((d^2y)/(dx^2))^3 = 1 - (dy/dx)^4`

∴ Order = 2,

Degree = 3
