Question
Find the sum of `1/7` and `3/9`
Solution
To find `1/7 + 3/9`
`1/7 = (1 xx 9)/(7 xx 9) = 9/63`
`3/9 = (3 xx 7)/(9 xx 7) = 21/63`
`1/7 + 3/9 = 9/63 + 21/63 = 30/63`
Simplifying `30/63 = (30 ÷ 3)/(63 ÷ 3) = 10/21`
∴ `1/7 + 3/9 = 10/21`
