Solution
Let x be the third proportional to 0.24, 0.6
then 0.24 : 0.6 : : 0.6 : x
∴ 0.24 × x = 0.6 x 0.6
x = `(0.6 xx 0.6)/(0.24)`
= 1.5.
∴ Third proportional = 1.5.
