Question
For the angle in standard position if the initial arm rotates 305° in an anticlockwise direction, then state the quadrant in which the terminal arm lies.
Solution
The initial arm rotates in an anticlockwise direction.
∴ the angle is positive and the measurement of the angle is more than 270° but less than 360°.
∴ The terminal arm lies in the IV quadrant.
