  2. Brazil occupies 5.6% of the world’s total area and contributes to 2.78% of the world’s population.
  3. Also, the population growth rate of Brazil is declining as it is trying to control population growth.
    Due to the above reasons, the population density of Brazil is very less which is 23 persons per sq. km. as per 2010 census.
