Question
Give scientific reasons.
Indians should follow family planning for controlling the population.
Solution 1
- Family planning is the practice of controlling the number of children one has and the intervals between their births.
- India is currently facing the problem of population explosion.
- The population explosion may lead to overconsumption of natural resources and may affect the environment indiscriminately. This may lead to increase in poverty, illiteracy, etc.
Hence, Indians should follow family planning for controlling the population.
Solution 2
- India's population is rapidly expanding. In India now, there are more than 130 crore people. Natural resources are under pressure due to the population boom.
- Natural resources that are currently accessible cannot meet the rising demands of a growing population. Inadequate education, unemployment, poverty, crime, declining per capita income, rising debt, etc. are further effects of the growing population.
- Only population control will help this worsening situation.
Hence, Indians should follow family planning for controlling the population.
