Solution
In some societies, individuals have free choice of mate selection. Family does not play much significant role in deciding when to marry, or whom to marry. The fundamental concept of free-choice marriage is that the girl or boy chooses his or her life partner. When a person falls in love, caste, religion, and physical appearance become irrelevant. These restrictions, which limit the number of desirable matches for a person, are strictly enforced in India. It also discourages dowry because there is no need to prove one's worth. As a result, I am in favour of free-choice marriage.
