Green chemistry designs safer chemicals which are less toxic. It normally leads to lower costs, less energy use, the use of ecologically friendly solvents, and reduced waste creation. The foundations of green chemistry are minimal or nonexistent waste creation and atom economy. It lessens the usage of harmful and toxic chemicals and promotes the use of renewable feedstocks. It eliminates majorly stoichiometry reactions and prefers to use catalysis. It preserves the environment and safety requirements with added benefit of cost reduction.
