Question

How did Custard prove 'the cowardly dragon' tag to be untrue?

Answer in Brief

Solution

The dragon, Custard, initially commanded no amount of respect from Belinda and the other pets, on account of his cowardice. However, when the home was invaded by an armed pirate and everyone else fled for safety, the dragon viciously fought the pirate and ate him up. As a result, the other animals recognised his value, disproving the label of "the cowardly dragon."
