Question

How does the mobility of electrons in a conductor change, if the potential difference applied across the conductor is doubled, keeping the length and temperature of the conductor constant?

Short Note

Solution

The mobility of electrons in a conductor is given by the expression, `µ = (eτ)/m`
As its independent of the applied potential difference, so it will not change if the applied potential difference will be doubled.
