The governing body of WHO is the World Health Assembly represented by all member. States of UNO which elects tile Executive Board of WHO consisting of 31 members. They are specialists in the field of health and their technical competence is the main criteria for selection. The membership of World Health Assembly is open to all members of UNO which meets annually to review the work of WHO. The Executive Board of 31 members is its executive arm.
